Crosta & Mollica makes its debut into frozen oven-ready meals with their Al Forno range

Modern Italian food brand, Crosta & Mollica makes a move into oven ready meals, with its new Al Forno range. Directly translated to ‘oven baked’, the range, Al Forno, encapsulates the intensely rich flavours developed when a dish has been baked in an oven over a long period of time. Featuring Italian staples including Lasagne al Ragù and Aubergine Parmigiana, Crosta & Mollica’s new four-strong range will be rolling out into Ocado on 28th September 2022, RRP from £5.00.

Traditional Italian Lasagne made in authentic Bolognese fashion. Starting with an aromatic sofrito base and red wine, the beef and pork ragù is slow-cooked and then layered between fresh, free range egg pasta with creamy besciamella sauce, finished with a sprinkle of 18-month-aged Parmigiano Reggiano. Enjoy this Southern Italian staple, made up of layers of delicately fried aubergine, fior di latte mozzarella and rich, slow-cooked tomato sauce, finished with a final flourish of aged Italian cheese and a fresh basil leaf.
