Bringing the ‘This is Yale’ Experience To LogiMAT 2019.

Following the success of the exclusive September event showcasing the company’s wide range of industry expertise, Yale Europe Materials Handling is bringing a taste of ‘This is Yale’ to the renowned trade fair, LogiMAT in Hall 9, Stand B33.

Taking place from 19-21 February 2019 at the international hub of Stuttgart Messe, LogiMAT promises to be another unmissable event and one that Yale is excited to attend. Elements from This is Yale have been carefully hand-picked for the event; it represents another opportunity for Yale to demonstrate its value and extensive experience in specific industry applications.

Industry 4.0 will continue to be a key theme in 2019 as the materials handling industry finds new ways to improve productivity and efficiency of resources.

“This is Yale was a superb showcase of how vast and versatile Yale® industry solutions can be, so we can’t wait to bring a small taste of this to the renowned LogiMAT trade fair in February,” said Iain Friar, Yale Brand Marketing Manager, EMEA.

Guiding The Future
After their debut in September, Yale is preparing to bring its recently launched robotic solutions to LogiMAT 2019.

Yale robotic trucks use industry-leading Balyo geoguidance navigation technology, setting them apart from traditional automated guided vehicles.

The solution can be more cost-effective for customers, as it doesn’t require additional physical infrastructure to be installed, and the equipment can be switched to manual mode at the touch of a button to complete tasks outside their programmed parameters. Visitors will be able to learn about Yale robotics in Stuttgart and discover more about how their fleet can be enhanced by introducing automation.

“Our robotics solutions are designed to be more flexible than traditional AGVs and integrate into existing industry applications with ease,” said Ron Farr, Warehouse Solutions Manager for Yale. “The products were well received when they were revealed for the first time at This is Yale and we’re excited to be able to introduce a wider audience to Yale robotics at LogiMAT in February.”

The Right Solution
From Stage V compliant diesel engines, to lead acid and lithium-ion batteries, to hydrogen fuel cells, Yale has invested in a variety of power solutions to suit individual industry applications. As was the case at This is Yale, visitors will be able to gain insight into the wide range of power options available.

Ian Melhuish, Vice President of Sales for Yale in EMEA, said: “Having a comprehensive range of options to power our materials handling equipment enables us to tailor our solutions to fulfil the desired application. We pride ourselves on understanding our customers’ industries inside-out. For decades, we’ve been getting to the heart of the challenges they face in their operations, and working with them to create an optimised fleet of materials handling equipment.”

A Tilt To Proven Technologies
The new MR Series tilting mast reach truck will also be joining the line-up at LogiMAT. Sharing many features with the award winning MR Series reach truck range, the new MR10-14E trucks benefit from a tilting mast, making them particularly well-suited to light-duty and low-height applications as well as those where space is at a premium.

Ideal for smaller fleet users, the tilting mast reach truck is a cost-effective solution for customers operating in minimum aisle widths, with the narrow chassis facilitating in-aisle passing of two machines. Although not restricted to retail stores, the new range is well-placed to function in back-of-store or smaller retail outlets where the loads are lighter and handling is intermittent.

A Vast Network
As well as Yale experts on hand during the event to discuss application-specific solutions, representatives from the Yale dealer network will also be present for all three days of LogiMAT.

A close partnership with knowledgeable and experienced dealers is key to the company’s success in the region with an extensive network of dealers offering local support. Yale dealers understand the pressure on businesses to respond quickly to peaks in demand or unexpected events and will be available to discuss how Yale Short Term Rental options can help optimise fleets and boost materials handling capacity to keep operations running smoothly.

Ian concluded, “We’re looking forward to working with our dealers, reuniting with our customers, and hopefully meeting some new ones in Stuttgart. With our robotics solutions, power options, and a teaser of our range of materials handling equipment all on display at our stand, we’re hoping to create an informative space for visitors to LogiMAT. We can’t wait to see what 2019 brings!”
