Aunt Bessie’s has expanded its Yorkshire Pudding offering with the launch of Bake at Home Carvery Style Yorkshire Puddings, providing time-poor shoppers with convenient homemade-tasting puds. Made for a full, rich and homemade flavour, the new product launch coincides with the growth of Yorkshire Puddings as part of a Roast Dinner Occasion (+14% YoY)[1].
Yorkshire puddings are an important part of a roast dinner as ever, and the carvery-style puds offer consumers the chance to conveniently replicate their favourite Gastro-pub style meal at home. Made with Aunt Bessie’s popular Yorkshire pudding recipe, they help shoppers to create a show-stopping roast dinner at home.
Sam Dolan, Head of Marketing at Aunt Bessie’s, said
“We know how important it is for some consumers to cook their entire roast dinner from scratch, but the majority of shoppers don’t want to sacrifice time spent with the family in order to achieve the perfect meal. The Bake at Home range is all about getting the balance right between that ‘homemade’ taste and ease to prepare, giving shoppers maximum results, with minimal effort.
“As the closest match to scratch homemade Yorkshire puddings, our Bake at Home Yorkshires really resonate with consumers looking to add that extra wow-factor to their roast dinner, with the added convenience that they are ready to cook straight from the freezer.”
The range will be available in Sainsbury’s from 29th September, with an MRSP of £2.00.
